Ela Kazdal
Ela Kazdal is an artist filmmaker based in London and Istanbul. She reflects on her personal narratives through film and video, with a focus on editing and experimenting with lensless filmmaking techniques. She has screened her films across venues such as; the Everyman Cinema Kings Cross in London, Billytown in the Hague, Æden in Berlin and Salt Beyoğlu in Istanbul as part of the 4th Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival.

Machine-sewn 35mm film transferred to video, projection, 1 minute (loop) displayed with an old ironing board found on-site
35mm film animation of stitches, referencing Annabel Nicholson's Reel Time in which the artist sewed onto 16mm film in real time while projecting it simultaneously.
